These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Rise Inc ("we", "us"), the business-tycoon game at https://riseinc.web.app. By playing, signing in or buying Diamonds you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before you buy anything. A parent or guardian who allows a purchase is responsible for it.

2. Your account

You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google or an email link so your progress follows you across devices. Guest progress lives only in that browser and can be lost if you clear your browser data. Buying Diamonds needs a signed-in (Google or email) account, so that your purchase stays with your account. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Diamonds and in-game items

• Diamonds are a virtual item that you can use inside the game. You get a licence to use them in the game, not ownership of them.
• Diamonds have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, sold or traded, inside or outside the game.
• The game is a work in progress. We may change prices, balance, features or content at any time, including what Diamonds can be spent on.
• We may reset or adjust balances to fix bugs, exploits or mistakes.

4. Purchases and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Payment is handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card or PayPal login details. PayPal's own terms and fees apply, and your bank or PayPal may add currency conversion charges.
• The price charged is set on our server, not in your browser. Diamonds are added to your account after PayPal confirms the payment, usually within a minute and at most about five minutes after you reopen the game.
• If a payment fails or you are not sure it went through, check your PayPal account before trying again. You have not been charged unless PayPal says so.

5. Refunds

Because Diamonds are delivered digitally and straight away, purchases are generally final. We will still consider a refund if something went wrong (for example you were charged but did not receive your Diamonds, or you were charged twice), and we will always honour any refund right you have under the law that applies to you. To ask, contact us (see section 12) within 14 days with your PayPal transaction ID.

When a payment is refunded or reversed (including through a dispute or chargeback), the Diamonds from that purchase are taken back from your account. Your Diamond balance will not go below zero. We may suspend an account that makes unjustified chargebacks.

6. Fair play

Do not cheat. Do not use bots, scripts or tools to automate play or to change your save, do not exploit bugs, do not attack or overload our servers, and do not try to access other players' data. Do not use offensive company names or display names, as they can show on public leaderboards. We may remove content, reset progress, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We will tell you why where we reasonably can.

7. Our content and your content

The game, its code, art, music and design belong to us or our licensors. You may play it for personal, non-commercial use only. The names and text you create (such as your company name) stay yours, but you give us permission to store and display them in the game, including on leaderboards. The game is fiction. Companies, people and events in it are invented and any match to real ones is a coincidence.

8. Availability

We try to keep the game running but do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost. We may change, pause or end the game or any feature. If we end the game, we will try to give reasonable notice.

9. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including about quality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost progress or lost profits. Our total liability to you for any claim about the game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

11. Changes, ending and law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms. You can stop at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
